John Betjeman's Lincolnshire
by Rodney Lines

This lecture is a welcome return by Rodney Lines (this time as part of the scheduled programme) to talk about John Betjeman's connections with Lincolnshire. Next to Cornwall, Lincolnshire was one of his favourite and most visited counties. Indeed he thought it had such a special quality that visitors should have to show their passports when they entered the county at Market Deeping. Rodney's talk will be about the people and places in Lincolnshire that feature in Betjeman's prose and poetry, with one or two surprises as well.
