Archaeological Excavations at Pinchbeck

Over the past couple of summers archaeologists have been investigating a site by the river at Pinchbeck. Interest in the site arose from the discovery of stone structures and finds by metal detectorists. Many questions remain to be answered but there are indications of a moated manor house and a market.
